With the help of the Gallatin Rotary Club, the Gallatin Police Department booth at Chautauqua was able to provide 47 free EZ Child IDs to parents.  The EZ Child ID system includes a digital fingerprint analysis software package to make sure all the necessary “points” on a fingerprint are obtained.  This ensures that all the vital information required by the Amber Alert system is captured.  In addition, the software records a digital video with voice.  In the event that a child goes missing, parents will have the option to provide this information to law enforcement for faster response that could save a live.

“I could not have run the booth without Rotary’s help,” said Gallatin Police Chief Richards.
